This menu is unexpected from such a casual environment. The food would be just as perfect in an upscale restaurant. We had Mole enchiladas, sopes and dorado tacos. I'll be back to try the molcajete , fajitas al pastor, and pozole.

The best Mexican food we tasted so far in the US. Starting from the salsa and the Guac - the whole meal was an experience! Service was great as well.

Loved the food and service! Table side prepared guacamole was fantastic and the main course was packed with flavor! House made tamales in banana leaves remind me of those my dad would bring home from the Guatemalans he worked with. They add a different flavor than a neutral corn husk. If you're looking for authentic flavors and not our Americanized dishes, I couldn't think of another sit down establishment!

It’s so Awesome having a sit in meal that’s authentic Mexican food, barely any Tex mex. The staff is amazing and the service is quick considering the time and effort they put in the meals. If you are a quesadilla fan, I highly HIGHLY recommend the tlayluda! So addicting and bigger and better. Omg and the lunch specials are phenomenal and there’s even some with thin slabs of steak which I appreciate so much over the weird squiggly beef you get at other places. The atmosphere is cozy inside with a beautiful bar and the patio is awesome and has a nice modern feel to it. I love the lunch chilaquiles with the steak. I wasn’t sure whether to get the red or green salsa with them so I asked for both and they were so kind to plate it up for me and it was not only beautiful but so delicious! Who knew chips soaked in savory and spicy salsa could be so good!? I also have tried the Enfrijoladas which is similar except the chips are soaked in a black bean sauce- honestly I couldn’t pick my favorite and only wish there was a trio plate! The eggs come how you request them and even they had such good flavor I didn’t even need the salt or pepper. Every thing I have ordered here (which is a lot now) has been a hit honestly. The flavors are on point, the salsa is delicious and has several profiles to it so it’s not that basic red salsa that has zero spices, and the portions are decent for the price. I seriously cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. When you order make sure to ask for the bottles of hot salsa- it’s the orange and green ones homemade, they are bomb and you won’t regret it if you like a lil heat. Also, The margaritas are delicious and come in clay pots which just seems to taste better. See you soon Queztal!

Amazing food, top-notch drinks. The queso and salsa is phenomenal. The Waite staff is friendly and attentive. If you have questions about the meals, they answer them and can make suggestions. If you order takeout, they are very prompt and I have never had my order wrong although they are human and I would love them even if they made a mistake. So excited can’t wait to pick up my lunch.

Food was great, we got shrimp tacos de Camaron, and chopped steak dish the waitress recommended. They had a live entertainer singing, he was pretty good as well. Even with the live entertainment, you could still have a conversation. I also highly recommend the Tres leches dessert! Definitely going to be our Mexican spot when we come to town. Have had 3 other places, this by far was the best.
